It's a challenge for Australia to set fresh records.

The top summits have long been mastered.

This is the squad that has won seven Cricket World Cups, plus six more T20 titles, and previously enjoyed over three years unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The remaining milestones, those for the achievement hunters, are the only things left for a team that has accomplished all there is.

That it took until Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase over 300, regaining their record for the largest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, frankly, a tribute to the bowling attack that have represented Australia over five decades.

It's difficult for their hitters to hold a record if not afforded the possibility.

"The possibility to take the field and engage in competition with her and just have a bit of fun in that aspect, somewhat inspired me," said Healy.

She reached fifty in 35 balls - her swiftest at the global tournament - and her century in 84 as she punished short deliveries, scoring 21 fours and three big hits.

Once she was out the team needed 66 more at one run per ball - an unconquered height now needing a comfortable finish.

"To chase 330 is uncharted waters so I'm happy we have the assurance to do that now," stated Healy further.

"Ideally we won't need to do it another time but, if necessary, we know we can succeed."

That comment will be the last competing nations at this World Cup should hear.

During the last week a feeling they will succeed regardless of circumstances has grown stronger - this success following victory over Pakistan by 107-run victory despite sitting at 76-7 at one stage.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before an encounter with longtime competitors England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a semi-final place may probably be guaranteed.

It was at that stage they were eliminated from the prior year's T20 World Cup in an unexpected loss by South Africa - a match Healy couldn't play because of ruptured tissue in her foot as she captained her nation for the inaugural occasion at an important competition.

So strong is her resolve, she later said she wanted to have participated with the discomfort.

But while she subsequently acknowledged those injuries have delayed consideration of ending her career, this World Cup is expected to be her final tournament as skipper in one-day cricket and she is still to achieve a world championship as skipper.
