Incredible $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

Following a short availability back in April, this cartography software collection is back with an encore that lasts until Dec. 2. Described as an extensive collection of mapping tools created by a specialized software company throughout their history, the complete package carries a value of more than thirteen hundred dollars. And there are multiple package options offered in this deal.

Primary Feature

The standout feature is certainly permanent access to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard mapping application that can be used to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, tactical combat environments.

Package Levels

Basic Package

The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, and Source Maps: Cities!. This package suits existing CC3+ users, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-product collection starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from the company's long-running monthly subscription service which includes a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from all sides. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages suitable for novices and experts, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.

You can even design character portraits. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle is so worth it, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously more advantageous for cartography beginners since it includes the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The sole limitation though you can redeem the deal on any platform, the applications only function with Windows systems.
