The surprising holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Disclosed

According to the authorized announcement, "An unusual encounter draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where hints of banned rituals and fearsome transformations echo through the obscurity." The narrative features a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who charges the characters with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a hidden group.

The mission concentrates on "bizarre trials and a monstrous enemy" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Metamorphoses

The preview highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser finishes with a striking moment showing a character, presumably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Additional Content

Players who accomplish the mission will receive an exclusive katana together with several objects hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
